Divided by different stages

1、 One scrap copper

Non compliant anodes, cathodes, and blanks. Generally, it returns to the previous process and then returns to the converter or anode furnace for electric refining. Generally, it does not enter the scrap copper market.

2、 New scrap copper

New scrap copper refers to new scrap materials or scrap copper generated within the factory. The difference between it and scrap copper is that it may be doped during alloying or covering processes.

3、 Old scrap copper

Old copper scrap refers to discarded, used, or externally generated copper scrap. Old copper scrap is a huge potential resource for copper recycling, but it is also difficult to handle.

The challenges faced in handling old scrap copper include:

1. Low copper content.

2. Unpredictable, supply changes every day.

3. Scattered in various places.
